Summary verison:
I slipped going down some stairs and probably tore the ligaments in my ankle.

Funny and lame version that makes me look like a dumbtard:
I had to go pay something at this government building (Hacienda) in Old San Juan. So after i offered to take my boyfriend to school, his brother accompanied me to do my stupid chore. I parked my car and while going down the stairs, on the very last step i misplaced my footing and sort of slipped off the step then land on the floor while twisting my ankle. I HEARD A CRACK. So did my "bro-in-law"(BRL from now on). It didnt hurt as much as i thought it would but stil hurt like hell. I couldnt get up. The security gaurd came and whatnot. My "BRL" offered to take me to the hospital but when they helped me up I got really dizzy and almost fainted (my grandfather was diabetic so idk if it was related to that). Before faiting i told the gaurd to call an ambulance. That i wasn't going to be able to get up.
After a few minutes, some people put me in a chair and took pictures of the incident/accident and my swollen ankle. As if it wasn't embarrasing enough. Imagine me crying and snot nosed (no tissues in sight)with a swollen ankle. yay...They offered to pay all the ambulance and ER stuff even though it was completely my fault. THat was nice of them.
The EMTs got there, took my vitals and checked my sugar levels. HILARIOUS---> Sugar level was 30. 30! If it was really 30, i would have been delirous or even in a coma. They tried putting me on IV but failed miserably due to my nervousness. I have the swollen, needle poked hand to prove it.
Through all this I'm calling my dad, my two moms, my cousins (my 2 cousins and I are like sisters) and my boyfriend (to get his ass over there). My BRL was insanely nervous and my BF decided to blame him for the fall. I yelled at him then told him he was now obligated to get me flowers (he doesnt buy me any TT-TT ).
At the ER people were nice though and everything was quick. I almost fainted a few times more, including when the nurse brought a huge shot for the pain, which i denied I was in pain but i could tolerate it enough not to get a nice sized needle into me
She called me a coward too. HAHAHA
X-rays came back ok execpt for a shadowy area. They told me to go see an orthopedist (Im going tomorrow).
So right now Im just running around bored with crutches.

PS. For those of you who like underage drinking: across from me in the ER was a 15 year old kid that decided to drink half a liter of rum (Don Q to be precise) and smoke some weed in the process. He came in full of sand (he was at the beach with friends)and nearly comatose. Actually he looked kinda dead. He was completely intoxicated. After a while on a yellow IV fluid he came around, only to find his dad, step mom and uncle grilling him and giving him hell for what he did. I think i even heard a few Christian speeches in there. So if anything else, don't drink for the sake of your family giving you hard time. Oh and that fact that you might kill your kidneys.... yeah thats important too.

PPS. Did I mention it was my right foot? Yeah, I can't drive anywhere. It sucks...
